GOD WILL CLEANSE AND RESTORE HIS CHURCH IN MELBOURNE

Can God build the Church in OUR CITY into the House of the Lord, fit for Him?  
Will this save our city?  Will we pay the price?

It will be a pure and spotless Bride (Eph. 5:27). 

This involves us being purified. 

We must be willing to surrender all to Him. God’s highest purpose is to reveal Christ in us   (Eph. 4:13)

Our main call is to seek Jesus (Ps 53:2, Phil. 3:10)

ALL MELBOURNE MATTERS - Researching the Church to Reach the City
A 3-year Project of Transforming Melbourne 

The "All Melbourne Matters" Church research report is being completed this week.  This project will present a definitive picture of the Church in Melbourne that will both challenge Church leaders and members to seriously consider and engage in new dimensions of mission and ministry, and provide encouragement and resources for these initiatives.

THERE IS AN URGENCY ABOUT THIS YEAR!

Melbourne is no longer such a livable city.
The many areas of social decline and some recent legislation are spiritual issues.
 
WE BELIEVE GOD IS CALLING US TO ACT NOW TO INFLUENCE THE FUTURE!

We know the power and love of God is unlimited.
He has committed Himself to work through us as we trust Him.
He has trusted us with the work of reconciliation in a broken world.
The love and grace and Good News of Jesus is not for us to keep.
We know around the world God is doing amazing things.
He is with us and works powerfully through us.
He can Transform our city.

THE VISION is for God to use TM's extensive research of the Church and City to inspire, challenge and resource the Church in 2009 to rise up and claim the future of our Melbourne through prayer and intentional collaborative mission.
