England - Alcohol 'toll on young soaring'

The number of young people admitted to hospital with liver disease linked to drinking too much alcohol has soared, government figures for England show. Hospital admissions for alcoholic liver disease among the 18-40 age group rose from 2,967 in 1997-98 to 6,495 in 2006-07.

WE BELIEVE GOD IS CALLING US TO ACT NOW TO INFLUENCE THE FUTURE! We know the power and love of God is unlimited. He has committed Himself to work through us as we trust Him. He has trusted us with the work of reconciliation in a broken world. The love and grace and Good News of Jesus is not for us to keep. We know around the world God is doing amazing things. He is with us and works powerfully through us. He can Transform our city.
